DooM³ amBX server up and running

Hi all,

I'm freaked because there is next to no multiplayer community within the amBX community, although there are some (inactive) Steam clans etc.

So I've installed a dedicated DooM³ server:

Hostname: amBX DooM3
IP Address: 62.75.143.221 (can be found through the server browser, no Punkbuster activated)
Port :27666
Location: Germany - so I guess Americans won't have too much fun because of latency...

The server is running from now on, let's see if there is any activity on it. I might add more (Quake4?) servers later on.

Tell me what you think. If you'd like to see more/other maps, rather have something reconfigured, tell me as well.

It's a bit quiet at the moment. I like your initiative. Don't have Doom3 though (and not enough time either ). Hopefully others are better off .

If you'd prefer any any other games on the game server, I'm willing to install them as well.
Preferably games that don't have many/any game servers - just like DooM3, because no game server has the plugin installed.
I want to build a refuge for all those lonely amBX gamers in the world. hehe

For the sake of completeness: I announced a DooM3 play night for tonight - basically in half an hour. Join Steam group amBX and join the group chat - or just install the game with mod and join the server.
