Still waiting for my lights, ordered since the 5th. A week later and order still pending. Called support and guy on the phone apologizes for the mixup and says one day shipping refunded and they are shipping out as we speak and still going to be one day shipping(should have gotten his name). Called back 2 days later because status still says pending and got some excuse about its an issue on our end not yours and will ship when issue is cleared up. Also was asked if I wanted a refund. Usually if someone is selling you something and wants your money a refund is not so easily offered unless something else is going on?

I see no youtube videos, reviews or unboxings, so everyone else seems to be in the same boat.

That would be very nice, the next buy location should be in The Netherlands if possible or an option to buy them in Germany. There are many AMBX enthusiasts over here and I would gladly replace my left and right Philips version by the MadCatz lights. Its a solution I've been waiting for with the lights only directing to the wall. Now I must place the Philips lights behind my TV so that the lights won't distract when watching a movie. But I wouldn't wanna miss them, its great fun and it makes watching movies more intense.

It will work fine on your pc if you wanne watch movie's. You will need to use VLC as mediaplayer.

Ambx doesn't officialy support xbox 360(it will support ps3 in the future) but i found this for you:

If you connect a tv to your pc ambx will work fine

Loving the lights so far on my PC.

Had a question about xbox ps3 support.
Will this be a update on the systems that will read the current lights?
Will you have to buy lights for PS3 and lights for XBOX360.
Also why would PS3 lights come first? I thought 360 is windows based which is my most 360 games are also on PC?
I won both systems but just wondering.

It's a form of Windows 2000 but not exactly Windows... The original Xbox had a modified version of 2000 and the 360 is a modified version of the modified version of 2000 that the original Xbox ran.

If it was just Windows you should be able to use anything that you use on your PC on it but you can't.

I'm guessing Sony adopted the amBX first (not sure if Microsoft have shown an interest at all) but it's been a while so I'm not sure if the Sony - amBX system is still going ahead... guess we'll have to wait for one of the amBX team to comment.

At present we do not know when PS3 or XBox products will be available.

amBX are licensed middleware developers for both platforms but we have to wait until a hardware manufacturer decides to bring a product to market for these systems. At the moment nothing is announced though discussions continue.

It is very unlikely that the PC product will be compatible with the PS3 or Xbox systems, though you never know - they will certainly need different drivers and possibly the hardware requirements will be different.

The lights are currently only available on the Gameshark stores, and unfortunately they only deliver to their host countries UK, France, Germany, US and Canada.

We are working with MadCatz to expand the distribution options asap and I will post here as soon as I get some news on this.

Please do let MadCatz know too as the more requests they get the more likely they are to solve this fast

So..., did you send them a request? I did, several days ago, but it stays awfully quiet.
