LCD in corner of a room?

Postby fireblade » Wed Oct 12, 2011 5:26 pm

Hi all,

After seeing some reviews and videos of the Madcatz gaming lights, i'm quite interested in buying some. However, i've noticed that in all of the videos, the LCD's are placed against a flat wall - do they still give a good effect if the screen is placed in a corner? I'm guessing it shouldn't be too much of a problem, but at almost £90 it's a bit much to just give it a try (it's hard enough trying to convince myself that £90 for some lights, is worth the money anyway, lol).

Thanks for any info.

In a corner will possibly give a better effect - it really depends on your setup and how you like it to work... the corners tend to catch the light really well and as I have my computer in a recess I actually have both MadCatz lights pointed at the corners... really gives a great effect IMO.

You can tilt the lights at a wide variety of angles to get the look you like and I'm sure that if you invest in some you will be pleased with the effect :)

Thanks for the info :)
I Really quite fancy a set of these - now just got to decide on lights, or put the money towards a motherboard/processor upgrade, lol. Soo many things to buy and soo little money.
