DOTA 2

Just to let you know, ambx fails to detect DOTA 2 on my system (both pc and laptop). I don't know anybody else with DOTA 2 beta access and ambx so i don't know if its just me.

Not really the immersive, atmospheric game you want ambx for but whatever :)

I have access and it was working a while back. I've asked the staff if the issue was on their radar to get fixed and haven't received any message back yet. That was on March 13th, I originally reported the issue on December 15th. It's frustrating because it used to work and it was nice to have when it was working. It looked pretty good in my opinion.

Does anyone on the staff have an idea if this will be addressed? This is a pretty major game on PC, it would be nice to provide support for it.

Hi there nRgon,

Apologies for not getting back to you over DOTA2. I've noted this game as one to look into. In the mean time any info on how you run the game would be great just incase we can give you a quick fix (things like if the game requires administrative privileges, screen resolutions etc). PM me with any details anytime.

Thanks.

Thanks for looking into this!

I would like it to work for DOTA2 aswell since I will be playing it a lot when it comes out. (Playing it everyday even when it is still in beta.)

I would like to add that if you put ''-nod3d9ex'' in the launch options of Dota 2, the amBX will recognize it and it will work perfect. I don't know why this makes it work but I am very happy that I can at least make it work for now with that launch option.
