As a market leading events venue 8 Northumberland see innovation and creativity as core to ensuring their venue lives up to its reputation and have taken their fantastic venue to a whole new level, using amBX technology in conjunction with Philips Color Kinetics and Control4. The installed system has dramatically increased the impact of this already outstanding venue space and put London’s most central venue at the forefront of event technology.

amBX partnered with Architainment Ltd and Firefly Automation to design an installation of amBX controlled RGB LED lighting in the Old Billiard Room and Annex which would provide everything from a subtle ambience to dynamic entertainment lighting to suit a wide range of occasions. With the flexibility and power of amBX control technology and state-of- the art LED lighting installed, the function rooms can be instantly controlled and brought to life with lighting effects adding show-stopping drama, intrigue and impact as well as the desired ambience.

The result has made a real impact on the venue and its business as well as Charles who adds “We are only just starting to scrape the surface of this technology there is a lot more to come; at the front end we can provide an amazingly sophisticated light to music and video show simply and at virtually no cost to the client. On a simpler level we are able to create effects from an everyday program such as Powerpoint that will improve the engaging of the audiences’ minds substantially. By enhancing the clients messages with subtle or dramatic light we are able to significantly increase the value for the client.”
