amBX can generate automated effects for compatible software. For a number of games and applications, amBX has already developed and tested preset effects for you to choose from. These will show up in the amBX Control Panel under Configure amBX software.

The title will appear in the list when the game or application is run. Click on the title to show settings for that title in the box below.

Selecting a profile

Some applications will have more than one profile to choose from, others may only have one which is chosen by default.

The following icons are used to represent what kinds of profile:

  • Image:Controlpanel-icon-lights.gif amBX light effects
  • Image:Controlpanel-icon-rumble.gif amBX rumble effects
  • Image:Controlpanel-icon-fan.gif amBX fan effects

Some applications and games may be recognised by amBX but not enabled by default because they have not been tested. You can enable them by selecting the profile "Enabled - untested" from the issues when amBX is enabled.

Embedded amBX

Some games and applications in the list have amBX already built-in or are enabled with a plug-in. These titles may use any or plug-in provides.

Enhanced Automatic Effects

Some games and applications have enhanced automatic profiles created by amBX to add additional effects. These are usually selected by default and do not need to be configured.
