Get automated effects with media players
From amBX wiki
amBX will automatically detect and generate effects for some media players including VLC, Quicktime, iTunes and Zoom Player. Other media players that have not been tested and verified by the amBX team may be detected as potentially compatible and added to the list in Configure amBX software. You can then choose to enable automatic effects at your own risk.
For a media player to work with automatic amBX effects, it needs to render video using DirectX or OpenGL.
The amBX Control Panel comes with profiles for the following media players:
- VLC media player
- Media Player Classic
- Zoom Player
- WinAmp
- Media Portal
- Windows Media Center
- iTunes
- QuickTime
- XBMC
- SplashLite
