Installing Mad Catz Cyborg Lights

If you're having trouble installing your Mad Catz Cyborg lights with the standard instructions. Please follow the steps below:
- Uninstall old amBX software, if you have it
- Using "Add or Remove Programs" for XP or the Vista equivalent ("Programs and Features") uninstall everything from Program Files with amBX in the title. e.g.
- Philips amBX Version XXXX
- amBX FXGen
- amBX mod for XXXXXXX
- amBX mutator for XXXXX
- amBX System
- Reboot
- Delete the contents of “Program files\amBX" and/or "Program files(x86)\amBX "
- Reboot
- Using "Add or Remove Programs" for XP or the Vista equivalent ("Programs and Features") uninstall everything from Program Files with amBX in the title. e.g.
- Download and install the appropriate installer for your machine 32 bit or 64 bit from the amBX downloads section.
- Ensure no USB devices are plugged in (except keyboard and mouse).
- Double click on the installer you have downloaded.
- Click on next until you are asked to plug in a device.
- Plug a Cyborg light into one USB port.
- Hit next and wait until done.
- Repeat the above for each USB port you wish to plug Cyborg lights into.
- Open your amBX Control Panel and click "Check for updates"
- Select any new updates and install.
- Reboot your computer to ensure new updates are installed correctly.
- Repeat the last three steps to ensure you get all the updates.
- When no new updates show up, you should be up to-date.
- Check for updates regularly for new features, engine updates and game profiles.
You can check that your lights are working correctly without running a game by running the amBX Illuminate tool. Found here if you do not already have it installed.
