amBX Partnership with Molex

Molex is a leading supplier of connectors and interconnected components. Their CoreSync solution is powered by amBX SmartCore and is used to enable smart buildings and smart campuses orchestrating disparate building systems such as PoE lighting, meeting room management, audio-visual, powered shades, and building automation systems.

We have worked with Molex since 2014. This long-standing partnership has enabled hundreds of smart new builds to be constructed and existing ones to be upgraded, future-proofing them, making them efficient and more sustainable.

Molex is based in Lisle, Illinois; the company operates 45 manufacturing locations in 40+ countries and employs more than 45,000+ people globally.

This software collaboration unifies two highly sophisticated platforms creating a reliable, quality solution that makes deployment, management and monitoring of buildings easy.

Together we have completed many flagship projects, including Georgia-Pacific Headquarters  - Dubbed the Blue Sky project, BICSI - A world-class Learning Academy with an IoT transformation, and many more.

Our partnership is constantly developing; we are always innovating, adding new features and updates that allow us to offer the best PoE smart building solution.

Phil Cross, CEO, amBX, states: Our partnership with Molex is a great example of how two companies can work together to create a smart building solution that truly meets the end-users needs. We can achieve more together than apart; partnerships and collaborations are definitely the way the industry is moving, small IoT companies are nimble and flexible and can plug the gaps of big heritage companies, and heritage companies add credibility and security to smaller companies. This mutually beneficial solution will fast-track the smart building industry, in my opinion.

Mark Hickson, Global Marketing Manager, Molex, states: “Working with amBX through a strategic alliance, has allowed both companies to deliver enhanced solutions for our customers. Molex technology and the use of the amBX SmartCore software has allowed us to deliver market-leading technology for both smart lighting and smart buildings”.
